Baking in the Omnia is just so much fun. It’s incredible what delicacies you can conjure up in this camping oven. Especially for cakes, of course, this lends itself. This vegan cheesecake is so easy to prepare and tastes just really delicious! Perfect for a cozy coffee & cake afternoon.
Cheesecake from the OmniaCourse: Rezepte, Sweets & Kuchen
- Der Base:
300g fine spelt flour or wheat flour
100ml sunflower oil
1 tsp cinnamon
- The Cheesecake Filling:
2 packages custard powder
500g vanilla soy yogurt
100ml plant based milk
50ml sunflower oil
Juice of one lemon
- Knead the flour together with the oil and sugar to form a dough. Save a handful of the dough for crumbles and press the rest into the bottom of the Omnia silicone mold.
- Stir the pudding powder into the vegetable milk with a whisk. Stir the sugar, the sunflower oil, the lemon juice and the soy yogurt into the mixture as well.
- Pour the cheesecake filling on the bottom and top with the remaining sprinkles.
- Bake in the Omnia over medium heat for 45 minutes. Then allow to cool completely (preferably in a cool box).
